THIS GIRL IS DEFINATELY A SHINING STAR. I FIRST NOTICE LIYA IN HER FIRST RUNWAY SHOW WITH VICTORIA SECRET BACK IN 2002. I IMMEDIATELY HAD TO DO RESEARCH ON HER TO FIND OUT WHO SHE IS AND WHERE SHE WAS FROM. HER BEAUTY ITSELF CAPTIVATED ME, BECAUSE I HAD NEVER SEEN A BLACK MOEDEL SO BEAUTIFUL, POISE AND CLASSY. NOT TO SAY THE OTHER BLACK SUPERMODELS ARE NOT. BUT THIS GIRL IS SPEACIAL, TO KNOW THAT 99.9% OF EVERY PHOTO THAT SHE HAS TAKEN IS STUNNING, IS SPECIAL.

IM JUST WAITING FOR HER AIR TIME ON TELEVISION. I HAVE YET TO SEE HER DO AN INTERVIEW AND STILL WAITING FOR HER NAME TO REALLY HIT BIG. I MUST CONGRATULATE HER ON BECOMING THE FIRST BLACK FACE OF ESTEE LAUDER, IN WHICH IM IN LOVE WITH THE LAUDER TRIO.

I NOW CAN CONTINUE TO CONGRATULATE LIYA ON HER MANY ACCOMPLISHMENTS, ONE IN WHICH IM EXTREMELY PROUD OF AND THATS BECOMING AMBASSADOR for MATERNAL, NEW BORN AND CHILD HEALTH.

I COMMEND EVERYTHING SHE DOES AND WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE FABULOUS LIYA

Fair comment - but I personally would have preferred Liz Hurley myself.

It was about time that she used her fame and fortune to help out her needing country. Unlike the Ethiopian performer Chachi, who has given so much to the street children of Ethiopia, Liya has been laying low - I don’t know why. But it is time to take some action and help out those who can’t survive a day’s harsh life in a third world, let alone dream of what being a millioner.

Better late than never - Liya

Whoever you are, You sound so cluless and lost. Get your ideas together and make senese; instead of lashing out and pretending like you care about Ethiopia. You don’t know shit!! Don’t make it sound like a couple of succesful Ethiopians are going to fix the problems there. Most of all, don’t make it sound like they are obligated.

It seems to me like people don’t comprehend the fact that no one is obligated to be charitable. I feel like people should commend her efforts instead of complaining and comparing her efforts to that of others.I think that for a busy professional as well as a young wife and mother who happens to be pregnant Liya is giving a lot to her country without asking for praise and admiration.
